About Revolution Song

Revolution Song is Morgan Hoog’s debut work of poetry and prose. Her pages — written in a time of stillness and rest — explore the winding journey of entering womanhood. Words, strung together with equal parts hope and heartbreak, explore all the emotions and moments that make us human: grief, loss, elation, joy, love, anxiety. Divided into three sections, she winds fluidly through the precious cycles of our lives, with the ultimate goal of helping us all arrive back at ourselves with compassion.

Each book is sustainably printed and bound by hand in Los Angeles. The cover is made from premium American linen and the interior is printed on FSC certified paper with vegetable based ink. Revolution Song is made by hand and supports fair and ethical wages along each step of the printing and production process. Carry your copy with you on your travels and love stained adventures, pass her from your hand to the hand of someone you love, or create a home for her on your coffee table — wherever she lands she is sure to be a source of inspiration and comfort.
